Autumn is getting deeper day by day, and the fall colors are looking beautiful now (#^.^#)
Here’s the autumn foliage situation around Nishinomiya City from around November 13 to 20.

Naruohama Seaside Park North Area
After getting a tip, we went to “Naruohama Seaside Park North Area” on November 20.
Unlike mountain foliage, it has a neat, well-kept feel..(^^)
The row of ginkgo trees along the north side of the park is especially at its best right now! I wish the sky had been blue ^^;
The park’s ginkgo trees looked like this in the photo (^^♪
The contrast with the blue sky is beautiful !(^^)!
The park’s open plaza is surrounded by autumn colors!
The maple leaves may be at their best from now on.
It feels perfect for a walk.. Just as we heard, it’s a relaxed, peaceful park (#^.^#)

Around Kwansei Gakuin
The area around Kwansei Gakuin is also beautifully colored right now (^^♪
The photos were taken on November 13.
The entrance to the Senior High School, where we started, looked like this.
We headed toward the university’s main gate along the road lined with cherry trees.
Past the main gate, the ginkgo trees near the restaurant were still a little green.
Walk a little farther and turn left. Then the maple foliage appears !(^^)! It continues on and on.
A gradient of maples, pine trees (which don’t change color), and ginkgo trees!
And a collaboration between the road mirror for checking cars and the maples.. a sight you only get with urban autumn colors? (^_^)v
Even after passing through the road by the bus stop behind Kwansei Gakuin, where buses head to the Sanda Campus, the autumn-colored path continues..
Around Kwansei Gakuin, you can enjoy the foliage of all kinds of trees, including maples and ginkgo trees. You can even take a bus from Hankyu Kotoen Station to Kwansei Gakuin-mae, making this an easy autumn-leaf outing!
From behind Kwansei Gakuin, Kabutoyama Forest Park is surprisingly close too.

JR Fukuchiyama Line Abandoned Railway Trail
On October 31, the Nishitsu Exploration Team went exploring in the darkest place in Nishinomiya, and the “JR Fukuchiyama Line Abandoned Railway Trail” is full of nature, with incredibly beautiful autumn leaves (^^♪
The maple gradient is so beautiful that even the darkness of the tunnel isn’t scary (#^.^#)

The surrounding mountains are beautifully colored too!
There are plenty of autumn sights besides the leaves, so try to spot them !(^^)!
It looks like the maples can still be enjoyed for a while…

Around the time the sun began to set, the leaves turned golden…
No matter how hard we try, we can’t fully convey 100% of how moving it was to see in person (ーー;)

Mikuruma Pond in Forest Park
visited Mikuruma Pond in Forest Park on November 13.
There are many maple trees around the pond, and they are starting to reach their best viewing season.
Ducks have begun gathering at the pond, and when people come by, they approach thinking they might get food ← The photo was taken from the middle of the bridge. If you feed them bread crusts from the bridge, they eat them happily, which is adorable (^^)
If you face Mt. Kabuto and take the narrow path on the right, you’ll find bright red maples…
And yellow maples too…
The leaves haven’t all changed at once yet, so even just walking once around the pond lets you enjoy the different stages of the foliage (^^♪
Mikuruma Pond is a short walk down the slope from the main entrance of Forest Park.

The Large Ginkgo Tree at Hanshin Koshien Station
Its roots are surrounded by concrete, the Tigers Team Shop Alps building stands behind it, and the Hanshin Expressway runs beside its crown. Despite such a harsh environment, it gives off an overwhelming brilliance every year.
A ginkgo this large may be rare in the city.
