What is “Gobu Gobu”?
Quoted from ごぶごぶ | MBS 毎日放送
“Gobu Gobu” is an on-location variety show starring Masatoshi Hamada of Downtown. Hamada and a weekly “partner” — such as a comedian, actor, or idol — wander freely around towns in the Kansai area, enjoying food, stopping by shops, and chatting with locals.
A stroll around Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi
This time, as part of a new project called “First-Time Town Series: Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Edition,” Hama-chan appears to be visiting recommended spots around Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi together with Yumi Nagashima (Nagashima Yumi), a Hyogo-born former Fuji TV announcer who now works freelance.
The preview shows scenes inside Nishinomiya Gardens, as well as a moment where they drink fresh juice at Hankyu Department Store. The TV listings also mention a “Western-style restaurant where you can get something for free,” so it sounds like an episode worth checking out. 😄
Finally
Watch the broadcast and see which shops make an appearance! “Gobu Gobu” airs on Saturday, July 5 from 13:54 on Channel 4.
