I myself had swollen tonsils about three times every year and was treated there. Also, during the earthquake, my father couldn’t move, and we borrowed a bed and got through the pitch-dark night there… They also took care of my mother’s body… I never imagined the hospital would close. Thank you so very much.

My wife worked there. The building did not meet earthquake-resistance standards, and they considered rebuilding or seismic retrofitting, but since there was no successor, they decided to close the hospital.

When my child’s shoulder wouldn’t move and was hurting, the doctor examined them. He moved my child’s hand and fixed it in an instant. I loved that gentle, calm doctor. I’m truly grateful.

In Closing
For 66 years, the hospital stayed close to the community, and so many people have memories of receiving all kinds of treatment there. I imagine those who were cared for until they recovered must feel truly sad. Thank you so much for all these many years✨
