Today, 3/28 (Sat), lots of people had gathered again at Hinata Ryokuchi in front of Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens. On this day, Kagayaki No. 509, a Nishitsu supporter, went to take a look.

It looks like Suita Mayor Keiji Goto also gave a campaign speech in support of Mr. Ishii. I guess mayors really do get along with each other.
He was shaking hands with lots of supporters too~
Maybe someone he knew came by. Mr. Ishii looks really happy, haha.
Then it became around 4 p.m.
And once again, a whole lot of people showed up~~

People from the opposition side were also taking part loudly~
The person holding the mic was Mr. Fujita, co-leader of Nippon Ishin no Kai~~. Mr. Yoshimura came before too~. That video about social insurance being way too expensive is popular, isn’t it? haha
Still, it’s become kind of a regular thing now: the usually quiet park by Gardens gets surprisingly crowded once election season comes around.

At Nishitsu, we asked the three candidates running in this Nishinomiya mayoral election various questions under the theme “We’d like to ask a bit about city government”~
We hope it can serve as one of the many reference points for the different opinions out there~. It’s important to look at different perspectives too, so please try to take in opposing views as well without leaning too far one way.
Tomorrow, March 29 (Sun), is voting day. It’ll be sunny, so if you haven’t voted yet, why not head out and cast your ballot?
