The fireworks festival held on February 9 was a little chilly, but overall it was very well received.
We took photos of the preparations from the morning of the event, as well as the overall atmosphere of the festival, so we’d like to share them with you.

Before Opening (Preparations)
The venue opened at 15:00 that day, but from the morning, many people involved in the event, including members of the organizer Nishinomiya Junior Chamber, volunteer staff, security companies, police, firefighters, booth vendors and organizations, were already on site preparing.
Barricades, information signs, chairs and tables for the viewing area, and other items were being set up around the venue.
Since this was also a disaster prevention event, panels preserving the memory of the earthquake for future generations were displayed throughout the venue.
Booths and Stalls
This is the park next to the Shellfish Museum.
There were booths here as well, and preparations were underway.
There were also many booths inside the yacht harbor↓
It seems the vendors came from all over Japan, and some shops had even come from Sapporo.
From Nishinomiya City, vendors such as “ラーメン桜息吹,” “いちにいさん,” “だしの店つみ木,” and “甲子園ヒーロー揚げ（じゅげむ）” had booths.
Opening Ceremony to the Start of the Fireworks
At the pre-opening event, the stage was full of excitement thanks to a live performance by the guest act, Bubblegum Brothers.
After the live show, it was finally time for the opening ceremony.
It began with a greeting from Mr. Gomioka, the chairperson of the organizer, Nishinomiya Junior Chamber.
Many guests of honor were in attendance, and Mayor Ishii of Nishinomiya City gave remarks on their behalf.
Now, as the sun began to set, the time for the fireworks launch was finally drawing near.
The ignition button for the launch would be pressed by representatives of the major sponsors, and of course, from Nishinomiya Tsushin, our very own shacho went up on stage as our representative!!
The representatives of the major sponsors were called up one by one.
By the way, the three major sponsors were “Nishinomiya Tsushin,” “新井組,” and “大阪建設.”
The two members of Bubblegum Brothers also came back on stage to help liven up the launch.
And now, at last, it was time to ignite!
And with that, the fireworks began
