A black train, different from the usual ones, was parked at the Nishinomiya Depot of Hankyu Railway.

These photos were taken from along Nakatsuhama-sen. ↓↓

When you think of Hankyu trains, the image that comes to mind is so “maroon” that people even call it Hankyu Maroon,
but there was a lone “black train” sitting there.

It looks cool!

The 4050 series is a type of rescue car that debuted in 1982. (There are cars numbered 4050 through 4053.)
When I heard the term rescue car, it didn’t quite click, so I contacted Hankyu Railway to ask about it.
- A rescue car is used to carry necessary materials to the scene when a major accident occurs
- This time, it was not out in the open because it was needed for an incident
- There was some kind of work being done at its usual parking spot, so it had been temporarily moved

Since it wasn’t out because it was needed for anything, that was a bit of a relief.
Once the work is finished, it will apparently return to its usual storage location, so it’s unclear how long it will be visible.
Nishinomiya Depot is here↓
The address is 1-7 Nagatacho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
※Guchiro-san, thank you for the information!!
