Tried the Thali Lunch at Namaste India in Yashikicho Nishinomiya!【Nishitsu Gourmet】

Nishitsu’s food writer introduces restaurants she has visited in “Nishitsu Gourmet.”
This time, we went to

an Indian curry restaurant
“ナマステインディア”
about a 10-minute walk from JR Sakura Shukugawa Station✨

When you enter the restaurant, a handsome Indian staff member welcomes you in very good Japanese🎵

Looking at the menu, there were so many different curries that I couldn’t decide, so I went with the “Thali Lunch,” where you can choose two kinds of curry😆

The Thali Lunch comes as a set with salad, soup, two curries of your choice, naan, chicken tikka, and a drink✨

First up is this soup.

It’s a seafood soup with a nice thick texture and a wonderful seafood aroma🎵

The salad is delicious, with plenty of sweet and refreshing dressing✨

And here are the main curries and naan😆

The naan is glossy and shiny, with a slight buttery flavor. It’s crisp, chewy, sweet, and delicious❤️

You can get a second helping of naan for an extra 100 yen❗️

For the curries, I chose chicken curry and vegetable curry.

You can choose the spice level from mild to very spicy, so even people who aren’t good with spicy food will be fine✨

The chicken curry has two big chunks of chicken in it and tastes mild❗️

The vegetable curry has hearty pieces of carrot and potato, with the natural sweetness of the vegetables, making it very mellow😊

Both curries were really delicious🎵

In addition to the naan, a small portion of white rice is also included, so you can enjoy eating it in different ways❗️

And then, arriving a little later, was the chicken tikka.

It’s very tender, nicely seasoned with pepper, and really delicious❤️

If you eat it with the basil and lemon served alongside it, you can also enjoy a refreshing flavor✨

Getting this much food for 1,080 yen is a great deal, isn’t it?❗️

Eating it with naan, dipping white rice into the curry, and enjoying it in different ways is part of the appeal of the Thali Lunch☺️✨
