This time, we visited “びいどろ,” a yakiniku and meat hot pot restaurant near Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station.
The main location is in Kobe, but since you can enjoy Kobe beef here, the Nishinomiya branch is also packed day after day.
Even on weekdays, it’s a good idea to make a reservation.

“びいどろ Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Branch” Food
First, you choose between yakiniku and meat hot pot.
If you choose yakiniku, a shichirin charcoal grill is brought to your table.
The yakiniku here is cooked over charcoal on a shichirin grill.

The shichirin grill has arrived.
Now, let’s get started!

We started with this (500 yen).

This is the salad (680 yen).
You can choose from three types of dressing; this one is Caesar dressing.
It seems just right for sharing between two or three people.

Here’s the sauce.
It’s a soy sauce-based tare with a nice sesame aroma.

Although this restaurant is known for beef, we deliberately tried ordering the pork toro (550 yen).
This is eaten with salt.
The pork toro holds its own against the beef.

This is Murata beef kalbi (780 yen) and loin (880 yen).
The photo shows one serving of each.
I like Kobe beef too, but personally, Murata beef has a lighter taste that I really enjoy.

We decided to order a few things from the menu that caught our eye.
First up is the seared negi-shio yukhoe (1,080 yen).
The yukhoe is lightly seared from above with a burner, giving it a fragrant aroma, and it pairs really well with the salty green onion topping.
It was delicious.

This is the seared meat sushi (1,200 yen).
This restaurant really seems to care about searing.
The vinegared rice and seared wagyu were another perfect match.

And finally, this.
From the shaved ice menu, we ordered the “Choco Cocoa” (650 yen).
Hidden inside the shaved ice are vanilla cream and chocolate syrup.
And on the outside, there’s a generous amount of cocoa powder.
As someone who loves sweets, I was more than satisfied with this shaved ice.
This one is definitely Instagram-worthy too.
The total cost depends on whether you eat Kobe beef or Murata beef, but I think around 10,000 yen per person is enough to enjoy the meal properly.
“びいどろ Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Branch” Menu
At this restaurant, you choose either yakiniku or meat hot pot.
Here is the meat hot pot menu.

Amazing, isn’t it?
Definitely Instagram-worthy.
But this time, we came for yakiniku, so we’ll save the meat hot pot for another visit…

Here is the yakiniku menu.
You can choose between Murata beef and Kobe beef.
Simply put, Kobe beef is the more premium option.
Kobe beef has more fat, so if that’s not your preference, you can go with Murata beef instead, or mix and match your order depending on your tastes.

Here are the side dishes.
The meat sushi looks tempting.

This one caught my attention even more.
Apparently, they serve shaved ice too.
I definitely plan to order this.

Lastly, here is the drink menu.
They have a great selection here as well.
Inside “びいどろ Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Branch”
The entrance is located roughly in the middle of the restaurant, so you can go either right or left from the entrance.
There are table seats and private rooms on both sides.
Just follow the staff’s guidance.

These are the table seats to the right of the entrance.
There are no burners or grills on the tables at first; depending on whether you order yakiniku or hot pot, a shichirin grill or burner is brought to your table.

These are the table seats to the left of the entrance.
These are sofa seats.

The private rooms are tatami-style rooms like this.
They seem good for families or small parties.
Exterior of “びいどろ Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Branch”

The restaurant is on the third floor of this building, and this is what the building looks like from the outside.
There are signs and lanterns outside the building, so it should be easy to find.

There’s also a menu placed outside the building, so you can take a look here before deciding.

There are extremely detailed signs everywhere, so you definitely won’t get lost.
Follow the signs up to the third floor.

After getting off the elevator, turn left and you’ll see the restaurant entrance.
