“Chun Shui Tang” in Taiwan is said to be the birthplace of tapioca milk tea.
There’s a branch in the food court on the 1st floor of Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens, so we went to check it out~

Taiwanese Cafe “春水堂 Nishinomiya Gardens”

There are this many shops in the food court on the 1st floor of Gardens.
You can spot “春水堂” among them.

Here it is.
It’s located closest to the entrance.
There’s always a line~

There are lots of menus and signs.
They have food on the menu too, but this time it’s all about tapioca~~
We tried the summer-only “Mango Tapioca Milk Tea.”
Mango is also one of Taiwan’s famous specialties, isn’t it?
Of course, takeout is available too.
Order at the register, get a number ticket, and wait.

Even the number ticket has an ad on it…
We waited with anticipation~

Ta-da!

Ta-daaa!!

Ta-daaaaa!!!
It’s the same tapioca drink, but…
It really is photogenic~
It was my first time having mango milk tea, and it was delicious~~
It feels like something that should have existed before, but you actually don’t see it that often.
