How to Make a Reservation
Who needs to make a reservation?
- People under 70 years old who have received a “driver’s license renewal notice postcard”
Who does not need to make a reservation?
- Those who have completed a senior driver course or similar training
- Those who complete the renewal procedure before the regular renewal period (overseas travel, childbirth, etc.) *Certificate required
- Those whose registered address is not in Hyogo Prefecture but who renew their license in Hyogo Prefecture (the so-called “keiyu shinsei” application)
- Those who complete a renewal procedure that includes reissuing a driver’s license (lost license, etc.)
What do you need to make a reservation?
- Renewal postcard
- Your current driver’s license
- If switching to a My Number Card-integrated license, a valid, unexpired My Number Card
When can you make a reservation?
- It is written on the renewal postcard. (It is the same as the period during which you can renew.)
Where is the renewal reservation site?

What should you do after making a reservation?
- A QR code will appear, so don’t forget to take a screenshot!
