“My Peridot Cafe” in Nigawa Lets You Meet Rabbits and Cats [Shop Tour!]

My Peridot Cafe

in Nigawa!

My Peridot Cafe is an animal cafe where you can not only spend time with adorable rabbits and cats, but also enjoy a proper, delicious meal!!

They also sell handmade preserved flowers and cat and rabbit goods inside the shop, so anyone who loves them is sure to have a great time🎵

A very cute house with animals painted on the walls and a brick exterior has been turned into the cafe.

It feels like stepping into a fairy-tale world, and it really gets you excited(*ˊᗜˋ*)

Go up the stairs and you’ll find the entrance.

Even on the stairs, cute rabbits and cats welcome you, making it impossible not to wonder what kind of shop this is❤️

Now then, let’s head inside!

You might just let out a little “wow!”
Inside, the cafe is filled with lots of flowers and adorable animal-themed decor✨

This owl even hoots “hoo-hoo” when customers come and go,
almost like it’s welcoming them…

This rabbit is incredibly cute too❤️

Everywhere you look, there’s something that makes your heart flutter✨

And here is the cafe area, with three two-person tables inside.

Even the chairs have cute Peter Rabbit cushions and plush toys♡

There’s terrace seating too!
Pets are allowed on the terrace🎵

Because the shop is also a flower shop, smoking is not allowed inside.

And behind the cafe space, beyond the glass wall, is the room where you can spend time with the adorable rabbits and cats✨

At My Peridot Cafe, the cafe dining space and animal room are separate, so you can fully enjoy your meal without worrying about any smells!

In the animal room, Fukuta-kun, the cafe’s signature rabbit, spends his time relaxing.

Fukuta-kun is a male Netherland Dwarf rabbit, and he has even appeared on Kansai TV’s “Minna no News Wonder” and “Yo-i Don!”

While you’re waiting for your food to be brought to the table, you can even try giving Fukuta-kun a treat✨

And this is Kotatsu-kun, the cafe’s signature cat. He was abandoned on Miyakojima, and through a fortunate connection, he came to My Peridot Cafe.

He was still a 5-month-old kitten at the time of our visit, a very cute boy with big, round eyes❤️

When we pointed the camera at him, he showed us such an adorable face❤️

Kotatsu-kun is very friendly, and even though it was our first time meeting him, he climbed right onto my lap🎵

There are five cats,
but as cafe cats, you can meet four of them, including Kotatsu-kun. They all belong to the manager’s household!

If you order 900 yen or more, you can choose one cat to spend time with after your meal.

If one cat isn’t enough and you want to meet more, there is an additional charge of 150 yen per cat.

If your food and drink order is 900 yen or less, there is a separate charge of 250 yen.

My Peridot Cafe is also a gallery cafe that displays and sells rare “pet portrait flowers” you don’t often see anywhere in the world🌸

Inside the shop, there are preserved flower arrangements of cats, dogs, and more all over the place!

This rabbit wreath is part of the shop’s interior and isn’t for sale, but they said they can make one if a customer requests it✨

They’re perfect as gifts for animal lovers. You can also order one made as a portrait of your own dog, so place an order in-store, or if you live too far away to visit, they also have a web shop, so be sure to check it out!

They also sell other animal goods.
