The cafe being built in front of the ticket gates at Naruo Station appears to be called “Lavy’s cafe.”
We wrote about it before, but we didn’t know the cafe’s name at the time↓

Mukogawa Women’s University’s Character “Lavy”
The cafe is being built as part of a project to create a Station Campus under the elevated tracks around Naruo Station, commemorating the 80th anniversary of Mukogawa Gakuin.
It is scheduled to open in October.
The “Lavy” in the cafe name “Lavy’s cafe” appears to come from the character of Mukogawa Women’s University.

Construction Status

This is how it looks from the north side.

Since it’s still under construction, it looks pretty similar from the south side too.

A craftsman was painting the wall in a brownish color. I didn’t know there were paint rollers this long.
In Closing
People in the Naruo area must be looking forward to this quite a bit. There’s now a plaza on the south side, and it looks like financial institutions will be opening nearby as well, so the area should become even more convenient. Land prices around here may go up too.
