It looks like the Nishinomiyahama fireworks show held last year will be held this year this time too.(Apparently it won’t be held until December this year)
As soon as we have the details, we’ll let you know right away and add a link from this page too.
Details are out! ↓
Here are some reasonably nearby fireworks festivals you can get to from Nishinomiya.
We’ll also show things like “how many minutes it takes to get to the fireworks venue” by train from each Nishinomiya station.
Stations in southern Nishinomiya: “Hankyu Shukugawa, JR Nishinomiya, Hanshin Koshien”
We also cover stations in northern Nishinomiya: “JR Nishinomiya-Najio, Taoji.”
7/25(Thu) Tenjin Matsuri Hono Fireworks
The crowds are on another level.
Rather than being flashy, these are the kind of relaxed, nostalgic fireworks people have enjoyed for years.
Apparently good lesser-known viewing spots include Genpachi Bridge, Miyakojima Bridge, and the west side of Miyakojima Bridge along the Okawa River (Google Street View), but since they’ve spread online, it’s hard to say whether they still count as hidden spots. This site has detailed information on those viewing spots.

7/27(Sat) 41st Ashiya Summer Carnival
It might be close enough to reach by bicycle, but then you run into the problem of not knowing where your bike is on the way home.
The music-backed fireworks get mixed reviews, but when the timing matches perfectly, it gives you chills. I’m curious whether Art Moving Center will play again this year.
If you want a proper view of the fireworks, the paid viewing seats at 1,000 yen per person are recommended. Same-day tickets are available for the beach seats and general viewing seats.
Buses get crowded on the way back, so many people walk to the station. It’s a 25-minute walk to Hanshin and 40 minutes to Hankyu. Far.
