The Summer Koshien tournament opened on August 6.
I went out and took a few photos around Koshien and the new Lawson around noon.

It really feels like high school baseball season. There are baseball players around, too.
I’m sure it must have been even more crowded in the morning.
There were also lots of elementary and junior high school students.

The Tigers Lawson That Opened Today
Since this is a residential road, vehicles are prohibited from entering.
From this angle it looks like a Tigers shop, but it really is a Lawson.
Security guards, no-entry signs, people on bicycles, pedestrians turning around, Lawson staff calling out to customers, shaved ice.
It had a strangely chaotic atmosphere.

The Summer Koshien tournament has begun. In this heat, where sweat drips down just from walking normally, it’s amazing that people come all the way to Koshien from across the country to cheer!
