It’s hard to say exactly how many meters, but the water appears to have risen to about 30-40% of the height of the tall wall beside the river.
The Mukogawa River in northern Nishinomiya and the Aobadai area are also flooding.

The riverbed area has flooded and is now completely out of sight.
Considering this is the amount of water in the fairly wide Mukogawa River, it must have been an incredible amount of rain.
From the Nishinomiya City Rainfall System
Even in the most recent hour, more than 32 mm of rain fell in Naruo.
For areas that are prone to flooding, see below↓
Nishitsu will share updates if anything else happens, but we recommend making sure you can access official information sources such as the city’s disaster prevention portal, disaster prevention speakers, and the city’s LINE account.
