A new bento shop called “なか金” has opened near Don Quijote along the Shiyakusho-mae Line.
(Thanks to Anonymous and Miichami for the tip!)
Here it is↓

It looks like it opened on October 10. It’s along the JR tracks on the Shiyakusho-mae Line.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is around 1 Rokutanjicho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
What’s around なか金

If you go this way, Jeep Nishinomiya is right next door, and you’ll head toward National Route 2 and Nishinomiya City Hall. Turn left onto Route 2 and Don Quijote is right there.

In the opposite direction, you’ll find Jolly Pasta, the Nishinomiya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yuge Roastery, and more, leading toward the Yamate Kansen area where Tsurukame is on the corner.
Menu

The pricing is super easy to understand: everything except the oyakodon is 650 yen.

We received these photos!! With this much food for 650 yen, that’s pretty exciting!
We also did a surprise report on “なか金” during our drive livestream~
Apparently they had been waiting for Nishi2 to come by someday~. That makes us so happy!!!!!!!
During the visit, we received a souvenir from “なか金”! Thank you so much😍

This is exactly the kind of bento I love! You don’t see fish bento all that often. This had been sitting for a while after it was made, so freshly prepared it must look 100 times more delicious! We’ll do a gourmet article on it too

It’s mackerel. As you can see, it’s beautifully glossy~. It went so well with the rice that I ran out lol

And it’s not just fish, it comes with karaage too, which is way too good!!! The flavor on this was great too.

The side dishes change daily~. It’s really nice when they vary depending on the day, isn’t it?

I was eating without thinking, then the sesame-salt rice hit my mouth and I felt so happy~ You know what I mean? That coarse-salt kind of taste

For now it’s takeout only, with a table set up outside the shop for sales, but it sounds like they’ll eventually start an eat-in corner inside too~.
Final thoughts
Business hours are weekdays from 11:30 to 14:00. They close once they sell out, so going around noon is probably best. I actually came here several times for the article, but it was always sold out and closed
*Anonymous and Miichami, thank you for the information!!
