It looks like a LIFE supermarket is going to open at the Morigu intersection along Route 2. The site is on the corner of the Morigu intersection, where メガネ本舗 and Nomura Real Estate’s condominium sales gallery used to be.

The address is Ochayashomachi, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
If you head this way, you’ll pass AOKI, Shukugawa Bridge, Nishinomiya Post Office, and Nishinomiya Hospital. Keep going and you’ll reach Frente Nishinomiya, where JR Nishinomiya Station is located.
In the opposite direction, there’s Domino’s Pizza, Ringer Hut, and TSUTAYA, and the road leads toward Ashiya.
Opening sometime after July 2020?
According to the project outline, the construction period is from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020, so it looks like the earliest it would open is sometime after July 2020.
It will be a four-story building with a total floor area of 5,678 square meters, so the sales floor seems likely to be fairly spacious.
There will apparently be parking for 69 cars, though it’s still unclear whether it will be a multistory parking structure or only street-level parking.
The bicycle parking area seems to be planned for the Route 2 side.
There are construction vehicles on site as well.
