It looks like the yuru-chara mascot “Izunyan” will be coming to Izumiya on the 1st floor of Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens.

Izumiya Shopping Center’s official character, Izunyan, will apparently appear next year on January 1 (Thu., national holiday) at the plaza in front of Izumiya on the 1st floor 🙌
There will be two appearances, at 11:00 and 13:30. Each one will last about 20 minutes.

It looks like you can make an Izunyan can badge. Starts at 11:00. You can participate by following Izunyan’s official Instagram. *Limited to the first 50 people
Make a Wooden Stand
You can also make an Izunyan wooden stand (for elementary school children and younger)

Final Thoughts
Izunyan was born in November 2024, and apparently its true identity is a “cat-like fairy.” Pretty cute, right? It seems Izunyan also visited Gardens this past July. Did any of you get to see it? 🙋 Little kids will probably love it too, so why not stop by Izumiya after bargain shopping or your New Year’s shrine visit?
