What’s Next for Nishinomiya Municipal Central Hospital
Due to its integration with the prefectural hospital, Nishinomiya Municipal Central Hospital will close on June 30 (Tue.), and from July 1 (Wed.), medical services will begin at the new “Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya General Medical Center” near Hanshin-Kokudo Station.

Medical Service End Schedule (Important)
Services at the municipal central hospital will end in stages, such as Phase 1, Phase 2, and so on. As of February 8, the announced schedule is as follows.
Phase 1 (March 2026)
- Secondary pediatric emergency rotation March 24 (Tue.) *Alternative medical institutions are being arranged
- Pediatrics March 31 (Tue.)
- Gynecology March 31 (Tue.)
- LINAC treatment March 31 (Tue.)
- Complete medical checkups March 31 (Tue.)
Phase 2 (Scheduled for June 2026)
Outpatient care, hospitalization, tests, surgeries, and other medical services are scheduled to continue until June.
