The 10th of every month is “Tookashi” Day
So, since you can receive Japanese sweets during the Toka-mairi visit at Nishinomiya Shrine, I went there today.
Last time, Mii @ Nishi2 went, so this time Leader @ Nishi2 went.
Not being used to taking the train, I missed my intended stop, “Nishinomiya Station,” and ended up at “Imazu Station”…

The atmosphere of the line when I arrived around 8:40 a.m.
Tookashi are handed out at 10:00 a.m., but there was already a line at 8:40 in the morning.
I thought this was already quite a line, but…
I received a Tookashi exchange ticket at the entrance,
and once I went inside, there were this many people!!
If you don’t arrive before the event starts at 9:00, I don’t think you’ll be able to get a seat.
They give out 180 Tookashi, and although I didn’t count exactly, it felt like there were already more than 90 people there.

The Tookashi for May 10 was from “Chidoriya Soke”
The “Tookashi” changes every month.
The “Tookashi” for May 10 was “Ebessan Tai” from “千鳥屋宗家(ちどりやそうけ)” (Chidoriya Soke).
Speaking of Chidoriya Soke, they have several shops in Nishinomiya.
