[Shukugawa] torico’s Potato and Bacon Tartine and More [Nishi2 Gourmet]

Introducing restaurants visited by Nishitsu’s gourmet writer in our “Nishitsu Gourmet” series.
This time, we visited

the bakery “torico（トリコ）”, about a 3-minute walk from Hankyu Shukugawa Station✨

torico（トリコ）

torico（トリコ） is a popular bakery along the Shukugawa River😆

The shop is located underground, down a flight of stairs✨

In front of the stairs, there’s even a birdcage, the shop’s motif, on display. So cute❤️

Inside, the shop has a warm atmosphere with the cozy feel of wood,

and it’s lined with lots of small, round, delicious-looking breads🎵

There were so many kinds of bread, but this time…
we carefully picked a few to introduce✨

First up is this↓

Potato and Bacon Tartine（190 yen before tax）

A hearty tartine packed with bite-sized potatoes and plenty of chunky bacon✨

It’s well seasoned and really delicious🎵

Next is this↓

Tuna（160 yen before tax）

It may look like a very ordinary tuna bread, but it’s loaded with tuna, and the bread is crisp, fragrant, and absolutely delicious😆

The tuna flavor lingers pleasantly, so it’s highly recommended for tuna lovers❤️

A simple bread with mashed potato kneaded into the dough, in a very cute round shape✨

Ciabatta Pomme de Terre（190 yen before tax）

It’s so sweet that you don’t even need butter🎵

The outside is crisp and firm, while the inside is super fluffy. So good❤️

Every bread we tried this time was delicious, and we polished them off in no time😆✨

There’s also a park nearby, so it would be nice to bring some along for breakfast or lunch🌸
