Reopening After Renovations in June
Soba Taikotei will be closing, but it looks like “Konpira Seimen Nishinomiya Yuba,” located along National Route 2, will be renovated and reopen as fresh soba self-service restaurant “Soba Taikotei.”

What’s Around Konpira Seimen Nishinomiya Yuba
Across the street is Toyota Corolla Kobe Shukugawa.
If you head this way, you’ll find what may be the biggest “chair” in Nishinomiya, along with Big Boy, Volks, and other places, leading toward Ashiya City.
In the opposite direction, there are places like Ringer Hut, Domino’s Pizza, and Life.
Final Thoughts
“Konpira Seimen” and “Soba Taikotei” are operated by the same company, and it seems there have been past cases where a Konpira Seimen location changed into Soba Taikotei. Since there is only one Konpira Seimen in Nishinomiya, it would be nice if the renovated location becomes a place where you can still enjoy udon too. The current Soba Taikotei will close on Sunday, 5/23. The reopening is planned for mid-June.
