It looks like you may be able to appear in a movie set in Nishinomiya.
Some of you may already know this, but filming has begun for a movie set in Nishinomiya called “Nishikita Chopin.”
Nishikita Chopin
The film “Nishikita Chopin” is an independent film produced by Shuhei Kondo and being made under director Yoshino Takemoto.
Mr. Kondo currently runs a coffee shop near Hankyu Nigawa Station.

This is the exterior of the coffee shop. (Incidentally, it’s in Takarazuka City. Please note that it is only open on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 12:00.)
Mr. Kondo was active as an opera singer while working as a company employee, and he has also been writing as a novelist under the pen name Shuhei Kamori.
“Nishikita Chopin” is based on one of his works, “Master Sensei,” with the screenplay revised for the film.
The movie has two main concepts: “passing down the story of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake” and “supporting left-handed pianists.”
Many people, including the director and cast, connected with those ideas, and filming has finally begun.

Trailer Video
This is the trailer video.
Did you spot any familiar scenery?
This trailer was filmed at schools in the city and at Shukugawa Green Town.
Of course, the main film is also being shot in Nishinomiya City.
In fact, you, reading this article, might be able to appear in this movie too!
Crowdfunding Underway
A crowdfunding campaign is currently underway to raise the budget for the film production.
Crowdfunding is a system where people share their ideas and passion online or through social media, then raise funds little by little from those who support the project.
Supporters often receive some kind of reward in return, and this time, it seems there is even a perk that lets you appear in the movie as an extra.
Specifically, it seems to apply to “those who contribute 3,000 yen or more by July 20.”
Please see the link below for details about the crowdfunding campaign and the movie.
