There are two hamburger shops called “Awajishima Burger” in Nishinomiya.
Apparently, these two are sister shops. This time, I visited “Awajishima Burger Koshienguchi,” located near Koshienguchi Station.
By the way, it seems to be a different shop from the “Awajishima Burger” on Awaji Island.

Exterior of “Awajishima Burger Koshienguchi”
Head north from JR Koshienguchi Station and walk a little, and you’ll see the shop.

There is also a takeout counter here.
When you enter, the ordering counter is right there. The system is that you place your order and pay first, then go inside.
They offer four hamburger sizes: regular, large, mega, and giga. The most popular one is apparently the large.
The hamburgers come with buns and a patty, plus onions from Awaji Island, lettuce, and tomato. You can also add toppings such as cheese, a fried egg, onion rings, avocado, bacon, and more.
This time, I ordered the large size with cheese and bacon toppings.

After ordering and paying, I went inside.

It has quite a lot of volume.
I wonder what the mega and giga sizes are like.
With hamburgers, the patty is usually the star, but in this burger, the sweetness of the onions stood out so much that you could almost say the patty and onions shared the spotlight.
That’s Awajishima Burger for you.
The lettuce and tomato also had a strong presence, giving it a slightly different balance from hamburgers at other shops.
Of course it was very tasty, and I think people who especially like vegetables would really enjoy it.
The side menu items, onion rings and Awaji Island fried chicken, are also popular.
