I lived in Tendo-cho, Nishinomiya until 37 years ago, and now I live in Aomori Prefecture.
Back then, my father often bought ice cream-filled cream puffs for me on his way home from work, and I remember how happy that made me.
My father passed away this year, and when our family gathered for the first time in a while, we ended up reminiscing about Nishinomiya.
But no one could remember the name of the shop where my father bought those ice cream-filled cream puffs, so we all went home still wondering about it.
My mother remembered that it was a shop just west of the north exit of Koshienguchi Station, but she couldn’t remember the name…
