The steel framework for the Koshien History Museum and commercial facility next to Koshien Stadium, which we’ve been reporting on for a while, has started going up!
This article is brought to you by “GenkiStyle,” a foot treatment clinic that supports Nishitsu.
There’s also a big announcement on the Koshien History Museum about its reopening after renovations↓

The Koshien History Museum is scheduled to reopen after renovations around March 2022, and the entire facility will be closed from Monday, September 6, 2021 through around March 2022(planned).
Here’s the map for the commercial facility↓
The address is around 8 Koshien-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Construction as of 8/24

From the Koshien Stadium side, you can see the steel framework being assembled!

From the LaLaport side, it was still covered by construction sheeting, so we couldn’t see it yet!
Area around the commercial facility next to Koshien Stadium

Koshien Stadium is right next to it. The building to the left of the white fence is the commercial facility.

Across the street is LaLaport Koshien.
At LaLaport, “one’sterrace”, “Hotel Chocolat”, and “LAKOLE” are all scheduled to open one after another next month, so that’s exciting too!

If you head this way, you’ll get to Hanshin Koshien Station.
Just as we were passing under the station, we got to hear the limited-time station melody “Yume Watashi”!

If you keep going in the opposite direction, you’ll reach the Hama-Koshien housing complex and the Koshienhama area.
Finally
With the reopening scheduled for March next year, the steel framework has finally appeared!!
It looks like the commercial zone will only be on the first floor, but the building is bigger than we expected, so it seems like several shops could fit inside!
We’re looking forward to seeing more of what the inside will look like as details come out!!
