I bought some bread from “Panya Gokoku Shichifuku Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Branch” near Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station〜.
This article is brought to you with support from Nichinoken, a cram school that supports Nishitsu.

I asked the staff for their recommendations, and these are the four I chose〜♡

First up is their signature “Hokkori Homemade Cream Bread” 162 yen (tax included).

There’s even a sign at the shop saying it’s “extremely popular here”〜.

Waaow. I’ve never seen cream bread packed with this many vanilla beans.
The fluffy bread is filled with homemade custard made with Miki Aka-Tamago eggs from Hyogo Prefecture〜♡
It’s topped with rock sugar, so you can enjoy the texture too〜.
Next is the bread the shop is named after, “Gokoku Shichifuku Pan” 152 yen (tax included).
It feels substantial and is fairly BIG in size.

It contains brown rice flour, rye, sunflower seeds, malt, oatmeal, flaxseed, and soybeans.
Apparently it’s rich in dietary fiber and minerals, so it seems good for you〜〜.
It’s simple, but moist enough to keep eating as-is without adding anything.

This is the “Mocchiri Cheese Bread” 238 yen (tax included)〜,

Cheese is rolled into the chewy yudane dough〜. I could eat this every day.
Apparently, it’s the shop’s No. 3 most popular item.

Last is the “Steamed Chicken and Takana Mentaiko Bread” 152 yen (tax included)〜. Its onigiri-like look is cute〜♡

So much filling. The mildly spicy mentaiko goes perfectly with the bread〜.

Final Thoughts
Apparently, there are currently eight branches, and aside from the Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi and Myodani locations, the rest are actually overseas. They have one shop in China and five shops in Singapore. Bread made with Japanese ingredients is popular overseas too〜. It’s a point of pride for Nishinomiya that a bakery with its headquarters and factory in Nishinomiya has expanded internationally〜.
