It looks like a craftsman from “松本商店” in Nishinomiya, which makes Japanese candles, will be featured on Sun TV’s “NEWS×情報キャッチ+” airing on Thursday, October 28.
This article is brought to you by “ALBOBBY,” a salon that supports Nishitsu.
Here it is↓↓

These are Japanese candles from Matsumoto Shoten, designated as a traditional craft of Hyogo Prefecture~ (right)
Here at Nishitsu, we even held a burn-time showdown between a regular candle and a Japanese candle from Matsumoto Shoten:
“Which one keeps burning longer?” Check out the burn-time battle here↓↓↓

Let’s gracefully ignore the rather funny-looking drawing of Nishinomiya’s beloved character Miyatan (drawn by Shacho from Nishitsu).
We also got to try painting candle lanterns, so Matsumoto Shoten has really taken good care of us here at Nishitsu😀
We’re looking forward to seeing how this representative Nishinomiya craftsman, who continues to preserve tradition, will be introduced♪
