One of Nishinomiya’s leading companies, Furuno Electric, has completed its new office building, “SOUTH WING” (^o^)／
Everyone, do you know what day December 3 is?
That’s right, today is “Fish Finder Day”
And this time, we were super happy to get a look inside Furuno Electric’s new office building, “SOUTH WING”, which has a huge connection to “Fish Finder Day”～🙌 yay

It really stands out even in the dark～😀 so exciting
The name of the new building is “SOUTH WING”
It looks like this new office building will bring together the Technology Research Institute and the marine development divisions～
Just as Furuno Electric succeeded in commercializing the world’s first“fish finder” in 1948,
maybe in the near future, a product that changes the world will be born from this “SOUTH WING”～!!
Here’s the first floor. It’s super spacious and has such an open feel～
I got to do a dream collab with Mile-kun, who I’ve always wanted to meet (^o^)
With an open floor like this, it seems like people could relax, come up with new ideas through casual conversations, and exchange honest opinions easily～

In the back, there were rows and rows of specialized magazines. Those kinds of magazines can be pretty expensive, so being able to apply to borrow them is really great～

There were also seats where you could relax while looking outside when you want to space out alone or think things over. I’d love to work at a company with a floor like this～
On the wall of the meeting room, there was an explanation of how “target tracking radar” works, the kind of thing you can’t help but stop and read.
The diagrams and writing had a hand-drawn feel, which made it feel natural, unpretentious, and really nice.
In a meeting room like this, meetings would feel exciting and fun, and free ideas would probably come naturally～

On top of getting to see the new office building, we also got to see the very first fish finder, and they even let us photograph it. And with Mile-kun too😍

On the day we toured the new office building, a “Fish Finder Certification Event” was being held～
Players from Furuno Electric’s official main partner, the Nishinomiya Storks（a team in B.LEAGUE Division 2, Japan’s professional basketball league）, were taking part in the event😀🏀
From the Nishinomiya Storks, from the left No. 0: Takuya Kawamura player, No. 1: Shota Konno player, and No. 22: Cheikh Mbodj player joined in
At the event, the Nishinomiya Storks players gave Furuno Electric employees multiple-choice quizzes～
The correct answer was measured on the spot with a tape measure😀It really got everyone excited～
The result was 280 cm. He was so tall it felt like he could touch the ceiling if he jumped～😆
And then, the Furuno Electric side gave the Nishinomiya Storks players a multiple-choice quiz in return♪
Maeda-san, the correct answer and tallest employee at 193.5 cm, appeared and compared heights with Kawamura player♪
It was a warm and friendly event from start to finish～(^o^)
After seeing the event and getting to tour the new office building,
I really felt firsthand that Furuno Electric is such an open and breezy company～
The more I learned, the more I felt what a wonderful company it is😀
Once again, I really think a product that changes the world could come from Furuno Electric in the near future～I’m looking forward to it (^o^)／
