A Relaxing Morning at HIRO Coffee Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Next to Takagi Park in Takagihigashimachi | Nishitsu Gourmet

I had breakfast at “HIRO Coffee Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi”, located next to Takagi Park.

The moment I opened the menu, I knew I had to order the “French Toast with Maple Syrup” for 495 yen (tax included). You get 50 yen off when ordered as a set with a designated drink.

Apparently, they use Hard English Bread baked at the neighboring Hiro no Pan Kobo Mugikura, soak it in their original appareil, and slowly grill it until fragrant.
Crispy and fragrant on the outside, moist on the inside〜♡ The French toast itself isn’t too sweet, so you can adjust the sweetness to your liking with the maple syrup.

The “Long Sausage Dog (Rosso)” for 638 yen (tax included) uses “Shimanami Sausage,” made with Okinawa-brand pork. You get 50 yen off when ordered as a set with a designated drink.
You can choose between “Bianco,” a white tartar sauce with grain mustard, or “Rosso,” made with plenty of tomatoes. This time, I went with Rosso.

It’s a slim sausage, but this coarsely ground sausage is packed with savory flavor. The portion is just right for breakfast. The “Rosso” sauce has a gentle flavor and seems like it would be delicious over pasta too. The side pickles are also excellent.

This is the “Coffee of the Day” for 495 yen (tax included). The beans that day were “Mandheling Blue Aceh”.

This is the “Regular Tea (Milk)” for 495 yen (tax included). Their regular tea is “Uva,” one of the world’s three great black teas.

There’s enough for two generous cups, and if it gets too strong toward the end, they’ll bring you hot water〜. Such wonderful service〜♡

I only realized after finishing my meal that the menu on the left shows the prices for drink sets. That’s super reasonable.

The exterior has such a lovely atmosphere〜♡

There’s a shisa at the entrance. The sausage was from Okinawa too, so maybe there’s some connection?

Inside, the ceiling is high and the space feels roomy〜.

Final Thoughts

The interior is spacious and relaxing, so it made for a great change of pace, and breakfast there was wonderful〜♡ I visited around 10:00 a.m. on a Sunday and got in without waiting, but by the time I left, several groups were waiting. I downloaded the HIRO Coffee app and registered as a member, which got me a discount coupon, so I’m definitely planning to go again〜.
