I bought some pudding from the pudding specialty shop “Maison de Purin”, which opened along the Kozone Line.

The paper bag and box are already seriously impressive.

Ta-da! This time, I chose “Caviar” and “Cheese.”

“Caviar” 1,500 yen (tax included). That’s a price that might make you hesitate at the register, haha. The little bottle that comes with it contains what they call “aroma liquor,” a carefully selected alcohol pairing chosen by a senior sommelier for each pudding.
The caviar is placed on top after you order, so it’s fresh♡

I see, I see. It’s made with caviar, white chocolate mousse, and sour cream pudding.

Following the recommended way to eat it, I tried the caviar and white chocolate mousse first.
Oh my, what in the world. The sweetness of the white chocolate and the saltiness of the caviar come together in an amazing marriage of flavors. This is food for nobility. I’m sure the Kano Sisters eat stuff like this, haha.

And then, believe it or not, you pour on an old rum called “Aged Dark Rum” before eating it. I was already shocked by the flavor before, and then it just keeps coming. This is a flavor I have definitely never tasted before. It felt like I was blindfolded on one of those celebrity taste-ranking shows, haha.

Next up is the “Cheese” pudding, 1,000 yen (tax included).

This one has manuka honey and orange sauce hidden underneath the cheese pudding.

It really is there. There it is!

Rather than pudding, it’s almost like rare cheesecake. It goes so well with the orange-scented manuka honey♡

This one also comes with alcohol, which you definitely shouldn’t forget. You pour on “Drambuie,” a liqueur known for its aged herbs and spices. On the first bite, the surprise kind of wins out with a “whoa!” feeling, but as you keep eating, you get used to it and start to feel the marriage of flavors♡

Final Thoughts
This feels like the arrival of a whole new kind of pudding. I never imagined putting caviar on pudding or pouring alcohol over it. The way it strangely works so well is impressive♡ The price is surprising too, but it would be perfect as a special gift.
