Cherry blossoms are blooming at Gardens again this year!!
This year is even more amazing than usual, so here are the highlights!
Amazing highlight 1
You can enjoy the cherry blossoms right at the 2nd-floor main entrance of Gardens (*^◯^*)

Until March 13, you can see Kohigan-zakura, and from March 14 to 21, Somei Yoshino, up close as they go from buds to full bloom!
This is what it looked like right after being set up on March 4~
By March 8, they were blooming this much!
The branches have more volume than you might imagine, so full bloom is going to be exciting (*^◯^*)
It looks like the first full bloom will be around March 10. Definitely check it out.

At the cherry blossom area near the main entrance, there’s also a scent experience!
Apparently, an original fragrance themed around the cherry blossoms along the Shukugawa riverside spreads out from here~

From March 14 to April 5, there will be an exhibition of cherry blossom artwork~

It’s a work by Kotomi Mizobata, inspired by cherry blossoms and designed with the image of falling cherry petals (*^◯^*)
I’m really looking forward to seeing the cherry blossom version of that wonderful artwork painted on the Izumiya shutters~
The creation process will apparently be streamed live on Instagram from 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12!
Amazing highlight 4
The cherry blossoms in the Sky Garden on the 4th floor of the main building will be lit up!
Usually, you imagine cherry blossoms from when they start blooming until they fall, but
from now, while they’re still buds, until around April 5 when they become leafy cherry trees, they’ll be lit up every day from 17:00 to 20:00!
And these lights are special cherry blossom lights developed by collecting data from 47 varieties of cherry trees
The cherry blossoms look like this right now, but
every time you visit Gardens, you’ll get to see them blooming more and more. It’s like you can feel spring unfolding right in front of you!
There’s nothing but excitement here~

At Gardens Kitchen on the 1st floor of the main building, where new shops keep opening one after another,
you can enjoy meals and tea while feeling the spring atmosphere like this (*^◯^*)
