Takeout Gomoku Yakisoba and Original Pan-Fried Gyoza from Osaka Ohsho at the Reopened Daiei Nishinomiya Store [Nishitsu Gourmet]

At “Osaka Ohsho” in the 1st-floor food court of Daiei Nishinomiya, which reopened on April 23, we got “Gomoku Yakisoba” and “Original Grilled Gyoza” to go!

The thick yakisoba noodles are lightly tinted with soy sauce and have a pleasantly chewy texture. They smell so savory and good!

It comes with plump, springy shrimp and chunky pieces of squid. Other ingredients stir-fried together included pork, egg, cabbage, bean sprouts, komatsuna, carrots, and wood ear mushrooms.

And when you think of Osaka Ohsho’s signature dish, it has to be this “Original Grilled Gyoza”, right? 💛 Soft and juicy♪ One serving comes with 6 pieces. According to the official website, they are particular about using domestically grown cabbage, garlic, and ginger, and the gyoza are hand-wrapped one by one in the shop every day! You can really feel the care that goes into them😆

The gyoza also come with sauce. It has a bit of a spicy kick, which makes you want a beer🍺

It’s also nice that the side of the box has reheating instructions so you can enjoy them at home. The phrase “Line up the gyoza neatly” is such an easy-to-understand way to put it😂 We’ll line them up properly and cook them!👋

“Osaka Ohsho” Menu

This is the dine-in menu. They have a great selection of set meals too. For noodles and rice dishes, being able to upgrade to a large portion for +110 yen is pretty reassuring💛 Having a kids’ menu is also great for families.

This is the takeout menu. Since the dine-in set menus aren’t available for takeout, they instead have 8 types of bento. A sign at the shop said, “If you place your order before shopping, we can have it ready for you when you leave.”

You can also eat in the food court’s dining area, which has about 120 seats.
