I got takeout collagen soup from KUON ODASHI LABORATORY, a shop specializing in bone broth and nourishing soups that opened in the Shin-Koshien Shopping Street.

These are the three I chose! From the left: “Beef Tendon Simmered in Red Wine Collagen Soup” 650 yen (tax included), “Leaf Garlic and Green Onion Collagen Potage” 650 yen (tax included), and “Organic Beet and Chilled Collagen Potage” 650 yen (tax included) 😊

First up, I tried the “Beef Tendon Simmered in Red Wine Collagen Soup” 650 yen (tax included)!

The beef tendon is so tender and jiggly, and it’s packed with collagen!! The soup is based on beef bone broth, with red wine adding a rich, grown-up flavor 😋 I bet cheese would go really well with it too…♡

The broccoli stays nice and crisp even after warming it up, and it goes perfectly with the soup♡ At the end, you get this smooth red wine aroma that lingers through your nose ☺
It’d probably be great with carrots and potatoes too, giving it a slightly Japanese-style twist.

Next is the “Leaf Garlic and Green Onion Collagen Potage” 650 yen (tax included)♡

This is a thick soup you eat with a spoon! Even though it’s made with leaf garlic, it has a really strong garlic aroma that totally whets your appetite! It really feels like you’re eating something good for your body! 😆
This one is also based on beef bone broth. It seems like it would work well as a pasta sauce too! I’d love to have this when it gets hotter and I’m feeling worn out from the summer heat 😚

Last is the “Organic Beet and Chilled Collagen Potage” 650 yen (tax included).

The first thing you notice is the refreshing tanginess of the sour cream! It’s clean-tasting and easy to drink♡
Since it’s based on chicken bone broth, it has a nice rich depth of flavor 😍
Somehow it has this American-style taste! It’s seriously like something you’d get as part of a course meal!
