Welcome to “Nishinomiya Railroad Crossings,” a laid-back corner where we introduce railroad crossings around Nishinomiya.
This time, we’re featuring “Gakkodo Fumikirido,” a railroad crossing in Matsuocho on the Hankyu Koyo Line.

The crossing is here↓↓

If you go this way, you’ll reach Koshikiiwasuji, and if you go straight, you’ll come to Shukugawa Elementary School.
Since it’s on the school route for Shukugawa Elementary School, that’s probably why it’s called “Gakkodo Fumikirido.”

If you go this way, you’ll come out along the Shukugawa River.

This is toward Hankyu Shukugawa. Measuring on Google Maps, it’s about 400 meters to Shukugawa Station, and along the way there are Kudegawa Fumikirido and Aioicho Fumikirido.

This is toward Kurakuenguchi Station. According to Google Maps, Kurakuenguchi Station is a little under 500 meters away. Between here and Kurakuenguchi, there are Matsuocho Kita Fumikirido and Kurakuen Fumikirido.
In Closing
This road is in a residential area, but it actually gets quite a bit of traffic.
You can get from Koshikiiwasuji to the Shukugawa River area without hitting a traffic light, and it also connects onward to places like Yamate Kansen and Osawa Nishi Line, so for locals, it’s probably a pretty convenient road.
