The anime *The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya* (originally a light novel) is famous for having Nishinomiya as the model for its setting.
Apparently, it will be rebroadcast on BS11 starting late tomorrow night, October 2.

Nishinomiya City in particular has been holding various events again this year related to its recognition as a sacred site for fans, so this is a timely topic for Nishinomiya.
