Netorabo Research Team’s ranking of popular sweets in Hyogo Prefecture has Koyoen’s “Tsumagari” at No. 1.
Here it is↓
※Quoted from Netorabo Research Team
The survey date was May 8. It covered places in Hyogo Prefecture with 100 or more reviews for “Hyogo Prefecture + sweets,” and was apparently created based specifically on Google Reviews’ “user ratings,” “number of reviews,” and “price filters.”

Tsumagari is popular because its fresh cakes are sold only at the Koyoen main store.
Nishitsu once ran a survey asking readers which shop they liked for cream puffs.

Bern 9 votes
That was the ranking.

This is Elberun, a familiar name on Nishitsu.
Here’s a comment from when we previously ran a Christmas cake survey.

No. 3 is the Hirota-cho patisserie “COCORO”
It’s a relatively new cake shop that opened in Hirota in 2019.

Nishitsu has been there too.

Here are comments from our article about these cakes↓
Strawberry shortcake .. Since it uses domestic strawberries, it seems this cake had recently joined the lineup. It also uses homemade strawberry confiture (basically jam, to put it simply (^ ^)). Amid the deliciousness of the fresh cream, you really get that “strawberry!” feeling in this shortcake (*^_^*)
Tarte Mont Blanc .. This uses both French chestnuts and Japanese chestnuts. The not-too-sweet chestnut cream is accented with chopped chestnut compote, and above all, the tender tart crust that you can cut with a fork was delicious (^ ^)
Chiboust Pomme .. Made with carefully selected organic eggs from Kyoto and apples from Nagano, this cake has fluffy chiboust cream with a distinct apple flavor inside! The cookie layer at the bottom is crisp and tasty, and the caramelized surface adds a crunchy accent that’s delicious too!

Finally
By the way, in the Hyogo sweets ranking, there were six shops from Kobe, three from Nishinomiya, and one from Ashiya. Kobe is the place that comes to mind when you think of sweets, so having three entries from Nishinomiya alone, a much smaller city by comparison, really shows what an impressive place it is.
