Lawson is selling 1.4x bigger Dekaraage-kun for basically 40% off

Starting June 13, Lawson has been selling “Deka Karaage-kun.”

This is 1.4 times the size.

The price is the same as regular Karaage-kun: 238 yen (tax included).

Since it’s 1.4 times the size, simply multiplying the price by 1.4 would make it 333 yen, so…

Discount rate = (238 yen – 333.2 yen) / 238 yen × 100 = 39.92%

Which means you can basically eat Karaage-kun at a 40% discount! (Apparently this is currently being sold in place of the regular size.)
