Takoyaki goes really well with beer or soda, doesn’t it? Unlike okonomiyaki, takoyaki has this easy, casual appeal that bread or cake just doesn’t have.

I remembered seeing the “ponzu mayo + green onion” on Nishi2 Gourmet, so I ordered it on Uber Eats. Each piece was big, soft and creamy inside, and really satisfying.

Imazu is my nearest station, so I often buy takoyaki with mayo sauce on my way home and enjoy it with beer in the evening!
