A 24-hour self-service “free used paper drop-off” spot has opened next to the former Morinaga Milk Industry site (which was the Pop Circus venue until recently).
(Information provided by Nishitsu supporters Hamam & Sasako, and Tsuu-san. Thank you!)
Here it is ↓

It really stands out, so many of you may have already seen it.
Here it is on the map ↓
The address is 4-21 Tsuto Iidacho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Around Eco Post Nishinomiya Tsuto Store

In this direction, the former Morinaga Milk Industry site is next door, and farther along are Meshiya, Royal Home Center, and Hanshin-Kokudo Station.

If you go the opposite way, there’s a 100-yen Lawson, toward the Nakatsuhama Line area.

It looks like you can drop off old newspapers and magazines freely at any time.

They ask that magazines and mixed paper be put in paper bags or tied with string.

They were being dropped off like this.

They also collect cardboard boxes, the kind that tend to pile up from Amazon and the like. Milk cartons are accepted too!

Looks really convenient when things have piled up.

There’s also space where you can drive in by car.

According to Tsuu-san, there’s a similar collection box in the parking lot of Kohnan in Imazu too. I didn’t know that
Finally
Back in the day, people would come around calling, “Do you have any old newspapers or magazines?” and exchange them for a roll of toilet paper, right? This seems pretty handy when you’ve got a bunch of cardboard and other paper waste piled up.
*Hamam & Sasako, Nishitsu supporters, and Tsuu-san, thank you for the information!!
