At the takeout-only sushi shop “Sushi Ichiban-chi”, which opened inside Nishinomiya-kitaguchi Station on September 15, we got a sushi assortment and kimbap (Korean-style rolled sushi) to go!

Here it is on the station map↓

It’s near the North Ticket Gate, on the side heading toward ACTA Nishinomiya.
目次
“Sushi Ichiban-chi” “Premium Nigiri (Matsuri) Assortment” and “Omoni’s Kimbap Roll”

Left: “Premium Nigiri (Matsuri) Assortment” 918 yen (tax included)
Right: “Omoni’s Kimbap Roll” 388 yen (tax included)

↑There are all kinds of assortments, and this is what the “Matsuri” one looks like. It might stand out for having conger eel, eel, and squid tentacles in it~

↑When you think sushi, you think salmon! Love it! I’m sure plenty of people feel that way~

↑Besides regular squid, it also includes squid tentacle nigiri, which feels pretty rare! The firm, springy texture is fun♪

↑And then there’s the simmered conger eel, so big it almost wraps all the way around the rice! It’s fluffy and irresistible~!

↑“Omoni’s Kimbap Roll” is a Korean-style seaweed roll, and it was made with regular rice instead of vinegared sushi rice~ (Apparently the kimbap rolls other than “Omoni” use vinegared rice.)
“Omoni” means “mother” in Korean. In other words, this is basically a Korean-style “mom’s rolled sushi”~

↑Inside, it’s packed with Japanese omelet, imitation crab, takuan pickled radish, and lots of vegetable namul~!

Shachomi: “It’s great that you can get plenty of vegetables in a sushi roll~! Seems good for beauty too♪”
And that was Shachomi, happily eating sushi on a bench in the plaza in front of ACTA. lol
Store Information for “Sushi Ichiban-chi”

↑It opened inside Nishinomiya-kitaguchi Station, outside the ticket gates, in the spot where “Kokyu Imogashi Shimizu” used to be.

↑If you go this way, Lawson is next door, and it leads toward the North Ticket Gate.

↑If you go the other way, ACTA is at the end of the passageway on the left~

↑There were about three different premium nigiri assortments alone, plus “all-salmon,” “all-tuna,” “all-eel,” and other themed assortments, so it was really hard to choose!

↑They also had a wide variety of rolled sushi, from standard futomaki to salad rolls, seafood rolls, and kimbap! There were also mackerel sushi and unusual inari sushi varieties like plum-flavored ones and ones with salmon~
