A vending machine made by students in Nishinomiya was apparently installed in Nishinomiyahama, so on the day it was set up, I stopped by to buy something while out for a run.
So this is how they install it! The illustration on the side has such a soothing, cute vibe♪
The location is next to the artificial turf field (soccer field) in Nishinomiyahama.
It’s a donation-type vending machine where part of the sales goes toward Nishinomiya City’s “youth support” efforts.
For the installation, DyDo DRINCO, Inc. and Hanshin Gardening Co., Ltd., which manages the field, apparently cooperated with the idea of doing something “for the young people of Nishinomiya!” ✨
The wrapping design and the thank-you message that plays when you make a purchase were all created and recorded by the students.
It sounds like requests are already moving forward to install machines No. 2 through No. 4 as well.
It was so cold that I tried to get the “Crab Hot Pot Soup, Zosui-Style”!
But it had only just been installed, so it was still “preparing”. Rookie mistake!!
I bought a 600 ml bottle of barley tea! Here’s hoping this small contribution turns into a big boost for Nishinomiya’s young people!
