Hotoku Gakuen’s coach is former Hanshin player Ikuro Katsuragi!
He runs “酒美鶏 葛城” near Hanshin Nishinomiya, an izakaya where the chicken is seriously amazing.
On scorching hot days and freezing cold days alike, he’s out cleaning the roads around Nishinomiya Shrine as a member of “宮人 (Miyanchu),” a group centered around restaurants in the Nishinomiya Chuo Shopping Street.
He’s also grilled meat over some seriously intense flames at Nishinomiya Shrine’s Sakagura Renaissance event.
And of course, he brings the heat at his restaurant too. With someone as fired-up as Katsuragi coaching them, of course they’re strong.
In Closing
Their next semifinal opponent is Chuo Gakuin. Last year, Hotoku Gakuen lost to Yamanashi in the final, but this time…! Nishinomiya is going to be buzzing.
