The stone on the corner of the bridge near Koyo Gakuin along the Osawa Nishinomiya Line is in a pretty alarming state.

Here it is↓

Whoa

It’s come loose~~
The stone marker with 夙川 written on it has toppled over and is about to fall~~! It’s caught on something and somehow still holding on.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is around 3 Kadoishi-cho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.

The gas station you can see way off in the distance is the one near the turn for Koshikiiwa Shrine.

If you go in the opposite direction, there’s the turn that leads to Koyo Gakuin.

There are scrape marks on the guardrail, so maybe a car crashed into it.

Since it says Shukugawa, as you’d expect, the Shukugawa River flows beneath it. This is upstream.

This bridge is called Myoiban Bridge(みょいばんばし). By the way, apparently the stone posts at the ends of a bridge that have the bridge name written on them are called oyabashira(おやばしら).

Still, even though it isn’t falling because it hit the back and got caught there, that construction-looking tape reinforcement is something else. I wonder if that tape is super strong.

Just to be sure, we asked the Nishinomiya Police, and they said the tape and other reinforcement were not done by the police. It was probably handled by Hyogo Prefecture. They’ll likely take further action as well.
※Kagayaki 509-go @ Nishitsu SP, thank you for the tip!!
