It looks like a “Geo Mobile” will be opening inside Edion along the Yamate Kansen road.

It’s apparently set to open in early June. The hourly wage is 1,131円, so it’s a little on the higher side.
The job listing describes it as Geo’s smartphone and mobile phone specialty shop, and when we looked into it, it seems there’s a store called “Geo Mobile.”

The address is 9-23 Ashihara-cho, Nishinomiya City.
Area around Edion Nishinomiya Store
Across the street are Cycle Base Asahi, the arcade “Play Station Navel Nishinomiya,” and other shops.
If you go this way, you’ll find Life, the recently opened Sukiya, and then it leads toward Route 171.
If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll head toward Gardens.
What is Geo Mobile?
Here’s a rough summary.
- A smartphone specialty shop that sells used budget smartphones together with low-cost SIM plans
- They carry SIM plans from UQ Mobile and Y!mobile.
- The Geo in Naruo is also like this.
- They also buy smartphones and tablets.
Lastly
Right now, some of the signs outside Edion are being replaced, part of the 2nd floor is under construction, and the 3rd floor was closed off for floor renovations. Maybe Geo will be on the 2nd floor… The 3rd floor looks like it’s being fully renovated, so we’re curious to see what happens there.
