Many of you may have been startled before when the disaster prevention speakers went off, right??
Mobile phones will all ring at 10:02 a.m.
The scenario seems to be that an earthquake occurs along the Nankai Trough at 10:00 a.m., followed by an Area Mail alert at 10:02 a.m. announcing a Major Tsunami Warning.
Even if your smartphone or mobile phone is set to silent mode, the alert will arrive with a special ringtone, so if you’re in a public place, it may be good to be prepared for that.
The “emergency alert radio” will deliver the message at maximum volume, even if the power is not turned on.

A ShakeOut is a safety action to protect yourself when an earthquake occurs in your area. Stay still and do not move until the shaking stops (for 1 minute in this drill).
10:02 a.m. People in the expected tsunami inundation area (roughly south of the Naruo-Mikage Line) should confirm how to evacuate from a tsunami!

Tuesday, November 5, 1:30 p.m.–4:00 p.m. (disaster prevention exhibition starts at 12:30 p.m.)
There will apparently be practical drills, disaster prevention exhibition booths, and more.
At the practical drills, visitors can observe lifesaving operations, helicopter rescues, and earthquake-related fire extinguishing drills, and there will also be drills that anyone can freely join. The disaster prevention exhibition booths will include an earthquake experience in a high-rise building and samples of emergency food, so it sounds like there will be some very interesting hands-on experiences.
