It looks like about 70% of the Alps Stand at Hanshin Koshien Stadium will be covered.
(Thanks to Iroha @ Nishitsu SP for the tip!)
Here it is ↓
The “Ginsan” roof over the infield seats at Hanshin Koshien Stadium is apparently going to be extended to the Alps Stand. It is scheduled for completion in March 2028. The cost is reportedly about 15 billion yen.
What will change?
The images below are quoted from the PDF “Hanshin Koshien Stadium Will Extend the Ginsan to the Alps Stand: Preserving High School Baseball Culture and Continuing Its History as the Sacred Ground of Baseball”.
Construction schedule ↓

The Ginsan expansion area will be 3,328 square meters, and it will reportedly cover about 70% of the Alps Stand.
Here’s what it will look like.
Before ↓

Currently, the roof covers the central, first-base, and third-base reserved seats, though this is a fairly old photo, the roof area is the same as it is now
After ↓

A new roof will be added over the upper section of the Alps seats!

Also, along with the Ginsan expansion, a new building will apparently be constructed around the outside of the stadium, and that building will serve as the structure supporting the Ginsan. The building will include food and drink stands, goods shops, and viewing areas, and the first floor will also be used as a waiting area for school cheering squads.

Construction will mainly take place during the professional baseball off-season, and completion is planned to coincide with the 100th Senbatsu High School Baseball Tournament four years from now.
Finally
There was this really cool video ↓
In the past, the large roof called the “Daitessan(大鉄傘)” used to cover all the way to the Alps seats. After the war, the stadium lost that entire roof, so seeing it finally return after so many years is pretty moving〜😊
※Iroha @ Nishitsu SP, thank you for the information!!
