The barbershop “KINKI(Kinki Riyou)” in Tsuto Kurehacho near Imazu Station has closed.
(Thanks to Ginjiro and KAZU from Nishitsu SP for the tip.)
Here’s the notice↓

It looks like the shop closed on Monday, January 13.
Here’s the location on the map↓
The address is 1F, 1-30 Tsuto Kurehacho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.
What’s around “KINKI(Kinki Riyou)”

Across the street is the parking lot for Kikona.

If you go this way, you’ll find Kikona, Chuka Soba Mokkosu, and then Hankyu Imazu Station.

If you head the other way, there’s Jidori Momoyaki Senmon Kakudori, and if you turn left at the first corner, you’ll find “Nama” Shokupan Sogyoya.

Even while the photos were being taken, there were people who had come to get a haircut and were surprised, saying, “What!? It’s closed!?”

This is what the shop looked like back in September 2023, when it was still open.
Lastly

By the way, according to KAZU from Nishitsu SP, Imazu is apparently a “fiercely competitive area for budget barbershops.”
- Ocean (Tsuto Hozucho)
- Shotiku (Imazu Akebonocho)
- Tiger (Tsuto Kurehacho)
- Hina (Imazu Akebonocho)*It used to be in front of the Nishinomiya Welfare Center.
All of these barbershops have been around for 60 to over 70 years. Also, while “SHAER BARBER MTR” in Imazu Yamanakacho isn’t a budget barbershop, it has a history of more than 70 years. Kinki Riyou, which has now closed, was also one of the long-running barbershops in the area, so it’s sad to see it go.
*Thank you to Ginjiro and KAZU from Nishitsu SP for the information!!
