Near Hankyu Shukugawa, there’s a building known to those in the know called “Arpeggio Shukugawa,” which houses several restaurants.
This time, we’re introducing one of them: the set meal restaurant “The Kitchen HILLTOP.”
It’s a set meal restaurant, but in the evening you can also enjoy drinks there.
We stopped by at lunchtime and tried one of their lunch set meals.

“The Kitchen HILLTOP” Food
There are several lunch set meals available, and from among them I ordered the “Osouzai Set Meal” (side dish set meal).
For the main dish, you can choose either “Yurinchi” (Chinese-style fried chicken with scallion sauce) or “salt-grilled mackerel.” This time, I went with the “Yurinchi.”

It comes with three kinds of side dishes.

The chicken is fried nice and crisp, with a rich aroma from the green onions.
It was a really delicious Yurinchi.
Today’s rice is mixed rice with hijiki seaweed.
You can upgrade to a large serving of rice for free.
This set meal also comes with miso soup and pickles.
The portion was pretty satisfying as it was, but you can also add more side dishes for an extra charge.

The lunch set meal menu seems to vary by day, and this was today’s menu.
The day’s menu is posted both outside and inside the restaurant, so check there or ask the staff.

Go up the stairs from here and you’ll find the restaurant.

From here, you’ll actually go down the stairs instead.
There’s an 안내 sign, so I don’t think you’ll get lost.
