It seems they’re holding them together since the event had been canceled for the past few years due to COVID😊
What is the Nishinomiya-kko Kanreki Ceremony?
According to the Nishinomiya-kko Kanreki Organizing Council,
That’s how it’s described.
Basically, it seems like there’s a celebratory ceremony, followed by eating, drinking, and catching up with people like, “It’s been ages!” There’s also apparently a club called the “Nishinomiya-kko Club” for staying connected afterward. Groups like the “Hiking Club” and “Railway Club” are currently active across generations〜😄

Who can participate?
The following people are eligible to join!
- 9th event eligibility: Born between April 2, 1961 and April 1, 1962
- 10th event eligibility: Born between April 2, 1962 and April 1, 1963
- 11th event eligibility (for those who couldn’t attend the April 2024 event): Born between April 2, 1963 and April 1, 1964
- 12th event eligibility: Born between April 2, 1964 and April 1, 1965
※Even if you currently live outside the city, you’re eligible if you attended school in Nishinomiya City
What will they do?
Part 1: Nishinomiya-kko Kanreki Ceremony 🎤
- Opening performance (South Wind Wind Orchestra)
- Congratulatory address from the mayor
- Greeting from the chair of the executive committee
Part 2: Social gathering 🍻
- Toast
- Celebratory calligraphy (Arakane Nobuko & South Wind Wind Orchestra)
- Performance by the Nishinomiya Shrine Lion Dance Preservation Society
- Puppet theater “Ebisuza”
- Chatting & networking time
There will also be 8 food trucks🚚

1,000 yen (paid on the day)

However, space at the venue is limited, so they recommend applying early〜
